Recommendations with a reason.
Our job is to help you choose equipment with confidence. We make clear recommendations, explain the fit, and keep the evidence behind the claim.
How we evaluate equipment
We consider intended use, construction, specifications, fit, and meaningful alternatives. Manufacturer data provides a factual foundation. Documented testing and established partner observations can add performance evidence when available. A specification is not presented as our own measurement.
No scorecards
We do not assign numbered ratings, stars, or aggregate scores. A glove that makes sense for one position may be wrong for another. Our verdicts focus on the player and the reason to choose the equipment.
What supports the launch reviews
The current launch reviews are editorial assessments of manufacturer specifications and intended use. They do not claim commissioned field testing. Each review identifies its exact product listing and source-check date. We do not fabricate exit velocities, long-term durability results, or personal playing experience.
Offers and independence
A commercial relationship does not supply evidence of performance. Codes appear only when their terms are confirmed for Dugout Standard. Prices, stock, and association approvals can change; exact variants and current official rules matter.
